OUR STORY © 2015 W.Griffith
Pop's World Famous. Born out of the idea that taste should come before convenience.
In 1973, Pop was a senior executive for a multi-national industrial manufacturing corporation. But from home, he was usually the host of mixology for gatherings with friends and family. Known for his ability to fashion for most any request, he was particular to use fresh ingredients and natural flavors for the best and most enjoyed cocktails but was always confounded by his desire for a better Blood Mary.
His initial variations usually involved extended effort in the kitchen and results not always consistent. Store bought brands while easy and convenient, were usually bland, watered-down tastes, or some extreme flavored recipes that maybe could be a little more fresh tasting.
He figured there had to be a better way and so set out to build and perfect the perfect Blood Mary. After many trials for such labor he finally perfected his recipe. Scribing it to paper and stowing it away for all these years. The original version of that recipe still exists today complete with splatters and corrections on the back of his personal business stationary taken from work. He not only perfected the drink at that time, but could finally provide a beverage option he was proud to call his own.
Pop’s recipe quickly became the must have beverage to kick off their gatherings, and for big game Saturday’s or big game Sunday’s in the neighborhood. Soon people began requesting he bring his mix to their gathering and events. Still later, so widely enjoyed, his Swiss business associates dubbed it “World Famous”.
Pop retired from that industrial manufacturing company many years later, but continued to make his recipe for family and friends well after that time. Today, Pop is no longer with us to make his World Famous for family and friends but this legacy has been past down and the family tradition for a better Blood Mary has been extended to us all.

OUR FOUNDER © 2015 W.Griffith
Bill Griffith , Owner - Founder.
It has been on the plus side of 30 years since I graduated with my degree in Business from University of Kansas. Since that time I have mostly been in the "corporate world" working for many recognizable corporate names. Early in my career I was on the front lines in industrial sales, business development and marketing.
In the last 10 years of my career, I could describe myself as an data analyst for one of the largest banking institutions in the country. Pop is my father. I very clearly remember him, going through the efforts and trials to create his World Famous Bloody Mary recipe. It was clear, this was an effort of joy, fun, and really later pride for him.
Fast forward to present day, and it was maybe 7 or 8 years ago, Dad asked that I mix up a batch of his World Famous Bloody Mary's. Seemly, with a bit of humor in his voice, indicated that if I would be willing to make the mix, he would inherit the recipe to me for safe keeping. Well, knowing my Dad, of course he was interested in having a good Bloody Mary but the agenda for him was also to see if my interest would be enough to be the good steward for his recipe.
Well just to have more fun, not only did I make the recipe but bottled several in wine size bottles and placed a label on it with his image and name using his namesake title given to him by his grand children, Pop's ... World Famous.
